Summary: The Global Benefits Manager role at Apollo is a temporary position focused on managing the operations of global benefits programs during a team member's maternity leave. The manager will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure effective benefits administration and communication. This role requires a strong background in benefits management within a global organization, emphasizing employee experience and compliance. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of domestic and global benefits and LOA programs.
- Lead and manage the annual open enrollment process, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees.
- Partner with benefit brokers to operationalize global benefits offerings, ensuring seamless administration of programs by vendors.
- Drive benefits communication campaigns, ensuring effective communication of benefit plan information to employees.
- Offer day-to-day benefits support and address inquiries, assisting employees in navigating their benefit needs.
- Work closely with Payroll, HRIS (DarwinBox), and People Operations to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
- Own all state and federal regulatory compliance filings, ensuring benefits programs adhere to applicable laws.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years experience leading and driving benefits programs in a global organization.
- Working knowledge of international health and general benefits offerings.
- Knowledge and experience in leave of absence (LOA) programs.
- Ability to scale processes in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and high attention to detail.
- Understanding of the global benefits landscape, specifically in India, Poland, Mexico, and Colombia.
- Ability to drive modeling and budgets for decision-making.
- Driven by delivering people-first programs.
- Ability to prioritize and execute on tasks and goals.
