Summary: The GIS Programme Manager will lead strategic GIS initiatives for a leading utilities company on a 6-month remote contract, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the project, ensuring effective coordination between key stakeholders, including oversight of data migration activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules and phase plans, providing key inputs into planning and scheduling while ensuring commitment to timelines and successful delivery.
  • Work closely with the wider project management team on project planning, execution, and risk management, while tracking and managing all activities, including business process analysis, change management, and deployment.
  • Maintain onsite communication records, share updates with client, and provide weekly progress reports to the Project Managers to ensure project transparency and alignment.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for the project's success, supporting business change activities and facilitating knowledge transfer.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in GIS implementations, particularly with ESRI GIS and related products such as ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and Experience Builder.
  • Proactive and action-driven individual with the ability to work independently and challenge a diverse stakeholder base to drive project success.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, including a mix of onshore and offshore resources, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and navigate complex project environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring clear and effective engagement with technical and business teams.
