Summary: The One Group is seeking a German-speaking Payroll Specialist for a multinational manufacturing corporation on a temporary basis for six months. The role involves processing payroll and maintaining compliance with legislation while primarily working remotely with quarterly office visits in Darlington. Candidates must possess professional-level German and English language skills, along with experience in SAP Payroll. Immediate availability is preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll for all sites in line with legislation and completing appropriate SOX controls.
  • Maintaining relationships with internal customers and external agencies, responding to all internal and external queries regarding tax, social security, illness, insurance, etc., including audits.
  • Initiating and participating in continuous improvement projects within internal departments.
  • Maintaining and updating document workflow and work procedure manuals.
  • Participating in (virtual) customer meetings at customer sites within Germany and answering payroll-related queries.

Key Skills:

  • Professional-level German and English language skills.
  • Experience in processing German payroll.
  • SAP Payroll experience.
  • Ability to start within a couple of weeks.

Detailed Description From Employer:

The One Group are recruiting for a German speaking Payroll Specialist to join a multinational manufacturing corporation on an initial 6 month temporary basis. This role will be primarily remote with travel to the office in Darlington once per quarter.

Requirements:

  • German & English language skills (professional level)
  • Experience of processing German payroll
  • SAP Payroll experience
  • Must be available to start within a couple of weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll for all sites in line with legislation and complete appropriate SOX controls.
  • Maintaining relationships with internal customer and external agencies, respond to all internal and external queries regarding tax, social security, illness, insurance etc. including audits.
  • Initiating and participating in continuous improvement projects internal departments.
  • Maintaining and updating document workflow and work procedure manuals.
