German Bilingual Social Media & Community Manager for POE2 Welt

Role Overview/Job Summary We are looking for a German-speaking Social Media & Community Manager to engage with the POE2 Welt community across multiple platforms. This role involves monitoring, responding to, and creating content while collaborating with creative teams to maintain a vibrant community presence. Ideal candidates have experience in gaming or ARPG communities and enjoy connecting with audiences online. Independent Contractor Perks Permanent work from home Immediate hiring Steady freelance job Job Highlights Hourly Rate: Equivalent of USD 15/hour in the applicant's local currency Schedule: Flexible, aligned with daily community engagement needs; PST (Los Angeles) Work Arrangement: Work from home Contract: Independent Contractor Responsibilities Daily Responsibilities Review all comments on POE2 Welt posts or @mentions Respond to those comments or @mentions if appropriate Search for POE2 news and content Retweet or “like” any POE2 news and content that is interesting Monitor the official Grinding Gear Games / POE2 channels for news and content Retweet, “like” or repost (for example, download graphics and post natively) all official POE2 comms Monitor general POE2 conversation across Twitter and Reddit to look for opportunities to engage Weekly Responsibilities Update slides for the weekly channel performance report (30 minutes) Attend a weekly online status meeting with the ZAM leadership team Develop original content ideas – memes, trending images, instructional/tips images, short videos, etc. – and collaborate with ZAM’s creative teams Monthly Responsibilities Update slides for the monthly channel performance report Develop event ideas for the channel – for example, UGC drives, “comment to win”, etc. Ad Hoc Responsibilities KOL Relations: Reach out to KOLs to arrange content sponsorships Inter-community relations: Reach out to adjacent POE2, ARPG, or other similar communities for co-op or sponsored activities Requirements 2–3 years of experience in social media or community management, preferably in gaming/ARPGs Native German (written & spoken); good English for internal communication Experience managing X (Twitter), Discord; exposure to YouTube/TikTok a plus Ability to monitor official POE2 channels and broader community conversations Ability to review and respond to comments/mentions daily Suggest and help create content (memes, tips, short videos) Collaborate with creative teams to execute content Update weekly/monthly performance slides Manage 20 hours/week reliably Support KOL/influencer collaborations and engage with adjacent gaming communities Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
