Summary: The role of Biology PhDs with Published Papers involves creating advanced biological research challenges in molecular biology and omics domains on a project-based, remote hourly contract. Candidates will design experimental tasks, develop research questions, and provide feedback on protocols while applying quantitative reasoning to complex biological problems. Key Responsibilities:

• Create advanced biological research challenges across molecular biology and omics domains
• Design experimental reasoning tasks including controls, confounders, reproducibility, and data interpretation
• Develop research-level questions, answers, and structured evaluation rubrics
• Provide feedback on wet-lab protocols, computational pipelines, and study design
• Apply quantitative and bioinformatics reasoning to evaluate complex, multi-step biological problems

Key Skills:

• PhD or MD/PhD in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, bioengineering, systems biology, or related life-science field
• Currently or recently active in academia (faculty, staff scientist, research scientist, or postdoc)
• Hands-on wet-lab experience designing and executing experiments
• Strong expertise in experimental design, controls, confounders, and reproducibility
• Deep domain expertise in at least one of: genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, or proteomics
• Published peer-reviewed research with demonstrated impact (first/second author or senior leadership)
• Strong scientific writing and analytical reasoning skills
