Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of generative AI models and solutions across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI models into business processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Contribute to the full AI solution lifecycle, from experimentation and prototyping through to production deployment.
- Write, optimise, and maintain high-quality code for generative AI model development.
- Integrate AI models into scalable, production-grade environments.
- Utilise tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (eg, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Apply engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance frameworks and relevant industry regulations.
- Apply best practices in data privacy, security, and responsible/ethical AI.
- Support the secure handling of sensitive and regulated data.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience developing and optimising generative AI models, including prompt engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Solid understanding of AI/ML algorithms and deploying models within cloud environments.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, or data engineering are advantageous.
