Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of generative AI models and solutions across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI models into business processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Contribute to the full AI solution lifecycle, from experimentation and prototyping through to production deployment.
  • Write, optimise, and maintain high-quality code for generative AI model development.
  • Integrate AI models into scalable, production-grade environments.
  • Utilise tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (eg, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Apply engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal data governance frameworks and relevant industry regulations.
  • Apply best practices in data privacy, security, and responsible/ethical AI.
  • Support the secure handling of sensitive and regulated data.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience developing and optimising generative AI models, including prompt engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML algorithms and deploying models within cloud environments.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
