Summary: The role is for a Fullstack NodeJS and ReactJS Developer focused on building financial transaction monitoring systems for a SaaS platform. The position is permanent and remote, requiring independent contractors to manage their own equipment and benefits. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build transaction monitoring systems from scratch, rewriting and improving upon existing prototypes.
  • Develop sophisticated rule-based engines for detecting fraudulent and suspicious financial transactions.
  • Create customizable rule libraries that clients can configure through intuitive front-end interfaces.
  • Implement complex transaction analysis algorithms including pattern detection, geographic anomaly detection, and behavioral analysis.
  • Build and maintain both front-end user interfaces and back-end processing systems.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning/review meetings.
  • Collaborate directly with product team to define goals, priorities, and backlog items.
  • Maintain and enhance the system as customers are onboarded and request additional features.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of US$ 19.7 per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40h per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm EEST with an hour unpaid break.

Open to schedule adjustment requests

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
