Requirements

• Government experience

Skills Required

• Node.js (including frameworks such as Express)
• NPM Package management
• Test Driven Development (TDD) and common test frameworks (eg Jest, Mocha, Chai)
• Relational or NoSQL database experience (eg PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Git and experience with distributed version control workflows
• CI/CD tooling (eg GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Containers (Docker)

Desirable

• Microservices and Event Driven Architecture (eg Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge)
• Cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Node.js performance tuning and observability tooling (eg OpenTelemetry)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
