Key Responsibilities:
- Transform Figma designs into polished, production-ready code.
- Build and refine user interfaces from both design and technical perspectives.
- Contribute to backend and devops work as part of delivering new features.
- Work flexibly across the stack (frontend, backend, devops) when needed.
- Deliver efficiently while staying motivated and assisting the team.
Key Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong front-end skills, particularly with React and state management tools (like Zustand).

About Us Kita is a new EdTech startup transforming how computer science is taught in schools. We’re building a browser-based coding editor enhanced with AI to make lessons faster, easier, and more engaging. Backed by three major R&D grants and a UK government contract, we’re still early but already gaining strong traction.
About You You’ll bring at least 3 years’ experience as a full-stack developer, with a particular strength in the front end. You should be confident with: React, state management tools (like Zustand), and websockets/Socket.IO Translating Figma designs into high-quality, production-ready code Building clean, functional, and user-friendly UIs with a strong design sense Working flexibly across the stack (frontend, backend, devops) when needed Delivering efficiently, staying motivated, and helping the team wherever you can
