Summary: We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to work on a contract basis, focusing on the React front end, AWS back end, and payment integrations. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact on product development from day one. The position is fully remote, catering to candidates in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development with expertise in React and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain features in the member-facing React payment application and broker portals
- Develop cloud-native services and APIs hosted on AWS
- Work with the MongoDB data layer across claims and payment data
- Build and maintain internal integrations with Stripe and OnRamp
- Contribute to the migration from Angular to React
- Participate in claims processing and onboarding system development
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and a small engineering team to deploy features end-to-end
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong React proficiency (hooks, context, component architecture)
- Some Angular to help with the migration to React
- Payment Technologies
- Back-end skills in Node.js or a comparable server-side language
