Summary: A leading IT Consultancy is looking for a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python, Flask, FastAPI, and AWS for a contract role that allows for remote work. The position requires designing, developing, and deploying web applications while ensuring performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will also focus on creating efficient RESTful APIs and optimizing SQL queries. Additional experience with Docker and related technologies is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise the Flask/FastAPI framework to design, develop and deploy web applications to AWS.
  • Ensure the applications are efficient, scalable, and reusable.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Ensure the Front End design aligns with the overall user experience and goals.
  • Optimise SQL/Geospatial queries.
  • Good to have: Docker, celery, sqlalchemy, pydantic, asyncio, pytest, nodejs.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Ability to optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Geospatial queries.
  • Knowledge of Docker and related technologies is a plus.
