Summary: We are seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to build an internal platform for a client in the Financial Services industry. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the London office required. The position operates outside of IR35, allowing for greater flexibility in work arrangements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Next.js, React, and some Python experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and enhancing the internal platform, focusing on the UI and data layer.
- Designing and implementing data structures, APIs, and Front End components that are fast, reliable, and beautiful.
- Collaborating with a small but elite team that cares about shipping quality code.
Key Skills:
- Proven ability to contribute across front and Back End focused projects.
- Java.
- Next.js and React.
- Some Python experience is nice to have.
- SQL (schema design, queries, performance tuning).
- Exposure to Azure DevOps principles and tooling.
