Summary: The role of Java Full Stack Developer involves working with a leading healthcare organization to modernize a core claims processing application using AWS technology. The position requires full-stack development skills, particularly in Java and Angular, and collaboration in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-stack application development using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Angular.
- Design, develop, and interact with backend databases, primarily Aurora Postgres and MongoDB.
- Build, deploy, and manage applications within the AWS cloud, focusing on containerization and orchestration using EKS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle for a brand-new application modernization project.

This is a primarily remote position. With that said, candidates must reside (Maryland, DC, Virginia) a commutable distance to Reston, VA to consider PI planning sessions once every 8-to-12 weeks. There will also be other key business meetings from time to time at either the DC or Reston, VA office.
