Summary: The role of Full Stack Developer is a remote position focused on delivering backend services at scale using JavaScript and Spring Boot, with an emphasis on REST APIs and event-driven integrations on AWS. Candidates should possess strong experience in security, observability, and automation within the development lifecycle. The position requires collaboration in multidisciplinary teams to meet government client expectations for security, performance, and reliability. High-level security clearance is preferred due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Manage API and microservices using EKS (Kubernetes) and Docker.
- Integrate back end layers with Kafka event management and NoSQL databases.
- Embed security measures such as IDAM/IdP, SSO, RBAC, and SSL/TLS.
- Utilize AWS telemetry and monitoring for cloud operability.
- Employ tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines for delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure security, performance, and reliability.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Spring Boot.
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven integrations on AWS.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for application containerization.
- Strong understanding of security practices in software development.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and Git best practices.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with caching (Redis) and networking (VPC, VPN).
