Summary: The role of Full Stack Developer involves working on a contract basis for a growing FinTech company in Australia. The position requires collaboration within a cross-functional Agile team to enhance the customer platform through significant upgrades and new feature implementations. The developer will utilize core web technologies and best practices to optimize user experience and application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build core web development technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional product development team to optimize implementation of static designs.
- Implement features and UI iterations for existing frontend applications.
- Understand and interact with XML, JSON, and APIs.
- Implement best practices for web application design, performance, and security.
- Provide guidance to the UI/UX development team.
- Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to implement new features.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in Back End Development using Node.js.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Markdown, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Experience with modern React practices, including hooks and functional components.
- Strong experience with AWS.
- Experience integrating with bespoke APIs, specifically with Redux store and React hooks.
