Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain core systems to support customer access to our services, leveraging Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
- Propose improvements to system specifications and functionality during development and beyond.
- Develop secure solutions suitable for handling highly confidential data.
- Plan and manage tasks effectively, set clear delivery timelines, and provide regular progress updates to your manager.
- Collaborate in daily SCRUM meetings to share updates and coordinate with the team.
Knowledge and Skills
- Extensive full-stack development experience in a commercial setting.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented PHP with a strong understanding of coding principles.
- Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks such as Phalcon, Laravel, Zend, or Symfony.
- Skilled in RESTful API development with a solid track record of building secure, scalable web services.
- Strong knowledge of web security standards, including experience addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Database expertise: able to design, develop, and optimize relational databases, with strong MySQL skills and familiarity with creating Entity Relationship Diagrams.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
- Proficient in writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality.
- Familiarity with message queue solutions, including RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
- Skilled in Front End development, including native JavaScript and frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git or SVN, with a good understanding of branch management and merging.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Experience with high-performance applications capable of handling large data volumes securely and efficiently.
- Strong systems analysis and design experience with a deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experienced in AGILE development environments with a collaborative team approach.
