Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using modern React-based technologies
- Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
- Contribute to technical design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable
- Write and maintain unit tests to support robust and reliable codebases
- Support continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and pipelines
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and delivery activities
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience developing frontend applications using React
- Strong experience with Next.js
- Hands-on experience using Apollo GraphQL
- Solid understanding of unit testing, ideally using Jest and/or Vitest
- Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
- Ability to onboard quickly and deliver effectively in a contract environment

Frontend Engineer - React (Contract)
Overview
We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a Digital team on an initial 3-6 month contract, working remotely and inside IR35. This is a hands-on delivery role for a contractor who can quickly embed into an agile environment and contribute to building high-quality, scalable digital products.
You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver clean, maintainable frontend solutions, helping shape user-focused experiences while supporting rapid, iterative delivery.
