Summary: The role of Frontend Angular Developer involves developing and enhancing E-Commerce services integrated into the client's Service Layer frontend application, primarily using SAP Composable Storefront. The position requires a strong focus on maintaining existing systems, improving product quality, and collaborating effectively within a team. The developer will also be responsible for creating new services and functionalities while adhering to internal coding standards. This is a remote position with a start date in May 2025 and a duration of 6 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and improvement of existing systems and applications
- Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
- Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
- Ship moderately sized features and improvements with minimal guidance
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
- Diagnose and prevent performance and optimization problems
- Recognize impediments to team efficiency and propose solutions
- Adhere to and improve internal coding standards through code review
- Develop new services and functionality
Key Skills:
- 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Excellent understanding of JavaScript & Angular 15+ ecosystem
- Very good understanding and >3 years experience with SAP Composable Storefront (SAP Spartacus)
- Professional experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Playwright is a plus
- Proficient in HTML 5 and CSS 3 (+SASS)
- Knowledge of web standards, advanced layouts, and responsive design
- Experience with RxJs and NgRx
