Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend AEM Developer to join our client's AEM engineering team in Poland. The role involves building high-quality, responsive, and scalable frontend components within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem. Collaboration with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams is essential to deliver exceptional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The position requires fluency in Polish and offers a contract length of 3 months with a possibility to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain AEM client-side components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Implement AEM editable templates, responsive components, dialogs, and client libraries (clientlibs).
- Work with AEM's Sightly (HTL) templating language to create clean, maintainable markup.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend features with AEM workflows, Sling models, and OSGi components.
- Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and align with brand guidelines.
- Optimize pages for speed, SEO, accessibility, and performance.
- Debug and resolve AEM frontend issues across environments.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration workflows.
- Maintain awareness of AEM best practices and emerging frontend technologies.
Key Skills:
- Must have native/fluent Polish language capability.
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience, ideally within enterprise CMS environments.
- Hands-on experience building components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
- Experience with HTL (Sightly) and AEM frontend development workflows.
- Knowledge of Clientlibs, OSGi bundles, Sling models, and AEM content architecture.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Maven, NPM/Yarn, and version control (Git).
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance optimization.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
