The Department of Management (DOM) Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is seeking a highly skilled, communication-focused UI Developer / Accessibility Expert to join our digital modernization team. We are looking for a dedicated front-end specialist who will focus entirely on user interfaces and accessibility, rather than a backend or full-stack developer role.
In this position, you will closely collaborate with our lead UX Architect and accessibility expert to scale high-quality digital standards across the enterprise. You will be responsible for building clean, semantic, and highly maintainable user interfaces across multiple high-visibility state agency projects. This role requires an immediate start to support active initiatives for Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Department of Education (DOE), and Health and Human Services (HHS).
