Front-End Engineer - Build AI-Powered Applications | React, TypeScript & GraphQL | Remote Contract

Are you a Front-End Engineer passionate about building modern web applications and AI-driven user experiences?

We're looking for a skilled React, TypeScript and GraphQL Engineer to join an innovative technology team developing AI-powered enterprise applications.

You'll help shape intuitive, conversational interfaces, build reusable components and bring multiple applications together into a modern, unified platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Develop AI-powered conversational interfaces, including streaming responses and interactive workflows.
• Create reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system.
• Help consolidate existing applications into a unified platform.
• Deliver accessible, high-performance applications alongside Product, UX and Engineering teams.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years' commercial Front End development experience.
• Strong React, TypeScript, GraphQL and Apollo Client expertise.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI and/or shadcn/ui.
• Hands-on experience with Vite, Vitest, Testing Library and Playwright.
• Enterprise authentication experience using Microsoft Entra ID (MSAL).
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and Agile development.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI-powered or conversational interfaces.
• Application consolidation or shared design systems.
• Experience with enterprise dashboards, workflows or financial applications.
