Summary: Our client is seeking a Front End Developer to join their team, focusing on building features for a business intelligence platform that supports data-driven decision-making across various brands. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills and a desire to learn, working within a diverse engineering team. This role is critical for optimizing and scaling the platform, which is used daily by numerous stakeholders. The position is remote and offers a competitive daily rate outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build features as part of the team delivering analytics capabilities across a portfolio of brands.
- Help build and validate best-in-class internal user-facing features.
- Optimize and scale a business-critical product.
- Contribute to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing, enhancing engineering best practices.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Vue3 / JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with HTML, CSS (Tailwind), and SCSS
- Understanding of using REST APIs
- Version control (GIT)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Vue.js Knowledge
- Figma or any design tools
- Playwright / Vitest experience
- Knowledge of containerisation (nice to have)
- Basic monitoring of pods within Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Understanding of MySQL/MariaDB, including running migrations & rollbacks (nice to have)
- Familiarity with AWS including CloudWatch and API Gateway (nice to have)

It is a business critical, in-house built, business intelligence platform that is used by hundreds of stakeholders across their whole business daily to make data driven decisions on product strategy and direction. The platform shows their internal customers how each of their brands across their wide-ranging portfolio is performing on a day-to-day basis and provides the ability to drill down into details so that they can hyper optimise their brands and content.
