Summary: The role of SAP Business ByDesign Finance (French Speaking) involves leading full-cycle implementations of SAP ByDesign Finance, focusing on financial modules and ensuring compliance with French accounting standards. The position requires strong analytical skills to assess client business processes and recommend best practices. The candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP ByDesign and be fluent in French. This is a part-time remote position with a duration of 3-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle SAP ByDesign Finance implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-go-live support.
  • Analyze client business processes and recommend best-practice solutions using SAP ByDesign Finance.
  • Configure key financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Cash Management.
  • Design and implement Management Accounting (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Projects, Internal Orders).
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and system testing with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, HR, Projects, CRM) for integrated solutions.
  • Support data migration, testing, and cutover activities for financial data.
  • Develop and document functional specifications for any required enhancements or integrations.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to finance teams and business leaders.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP ERP Finance, including hands-on SAP Business ByDesign experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial statements, and business processes.
  • Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP ByDesign implementations.
  • Knowledge of integrations between ByDesign Finance and other modules (e.g., Projects, Supply Chain).
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and KPIs within ByDesign.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • SAP certification in Business ByDesign Finance (preferred but not required).

Job Description:

  • Knowledge of SAP ByD multi-company implementations in one Tenant.
  • Knowledge of SAP ByD financial business requirements
  • France Accounting Standards F01
  • Knowledge of SAP ByD financial business requirements in the France
  • At least 3 implementations where the following functionality was rolled out:
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • General Ledger
  • Liquidity Management
  • Payment Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Inventory Valuation including Moving Average Cost
  • Cost and Revenue including Revenue Recognition (at least one implementation)
  • Production Control and how it impacts finance (at least one implementation)
  • Service Management and how it impacts finance (at least one implementation)
  • Organizational Management
