Summary: The role involves a freelance Clinical Scientist position for a biotech company in Germany, focusing on designing and overseeing clinical biomarker strategies and contributing to clinical trial documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee clinical biomarker and immunomonitoring strategies to support clinical milestones.
- Contribute to clinical trial documentation including protocols, investigator brochures, regulatory briefing materials, statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
- Collaborate with preclinical teams to translate mechanistic insights into clinical hypotheses.
- Author biomarker plans as part of broader clinical development strategies.
- Engage with external experts and integrate scientific feedback into program planning.
- Analyze and interpret biomarker data for inclusion in regulatory documents, publications, and internal reports.
- Present findings at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and internal stakeholder sessions.
- Manage external collaborations and vendors for clinical sample and data analysis.
- Coordinate clinical specimen logistics with internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend biomarker platforms and technologies.
Key Skills:
- PhD in Life Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Immunology, Oncology, Virology) or MD/PharmD with relevant scientific experience.
- Strong background in translational research within therapeutic areas such as oncology, infectious diseases, or immunology.
- Experience in clinical development and bioanalytical methods is a plus.
- Familiarity with GxP documentation and regulatory standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
