Key Responsibilities:
- Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills shown in a portfolio.
- Design Support Works, create attractive designs and report to head of design.
- FF&E Selection, good knowledge of finishes, materials and brands.
- Presentation Works, mood boards, conceptual drawings, specification sheets for clients and suppliers.
- BoQ list for FF&E, prepare lists and specifications for enabling a reliable quotation process.
- Supplier Communication for innovative design solutions.
- Design in detail from concept to medium level detailed drawings for guiding render process.
- Communicate effectively within the team in order to assure a seamless information flow.
- Follow up the revisions and change orders and update BoQ lists and necessary documents.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in interior architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in interior design and refurbishment, preferably in high-end hospitality, residential and retail projects.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, dealing with internal and external teams.
- Experience and relationships with a broad range of technical details and suppliers.
- Strong AutoCAD and Adobe creative suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Excel, Microsoft package skills.
- Be enthusiastic; professional; responsible, reliable and organised in their approach.
- Giving good decisions in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven track record and solid references.

We’re looking for an interior designer who will be working on contract basis remotely with a requirement to travel to site locations as required (current project is in Como, Italy). This role needs someone who is very capable, an attention to detail and prior experience is essential, the ideal candidate will ‘own’ their work, by ensuring that what is designed works and is within the client brief whilst sticking to budgets, lead times and efficiencies. Projects will vary in nature creatively and budget wise so you must be happy and enjoy covering a broad range of work.
