Summary: The Freelance Hurdles Programme Coordinator at England Athletics will oversee the national hurdles development program, reporting to the Event Group Lead - Speed. This role involves organizing technical camps, competitions, and webinars while supporting athlete selections for talent programs. The position requires travel to promote hurdles opportunities and engage with various stakeholders in the athletics community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising a rolling series of national hurdles technical camps for short and long hurdles.
- Organising and supporting the annual Hurdles Fest competition in partnership with the Bruce Longden Coaching Foundation.
- Delivering a series of hurdles webinars focused on specific coach and athlete development for long and short hurdles.
- Supporting clubs, coaches and competitions with technical guidance during the age-group rule change transition process in the lead up to and throughout the 2026 track season.
