Summary: The Freelance HEOR Consultant / HTA Statistician will support a leading global life sciences consultancy in delivering advanced analytics and evidence synthesis projects for pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. This role involves conducting various statistical analyses and contributing to methodological innovations within health economics and market access strategies. The position is remote, flexible, and offers a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. An ASAP start is required for this role based in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct advanced evidence synthesis projects including network meta-analyses (NMAs), indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), mixed treatment comparisons (MTCs), and pairwise meta-analyses.
- Design and execute statistical analyses across clinical trial and real-world data, including survival analyses, utility analyses, and regression-based methodologies.
- Develop and review systematic literature review outputs, feasibility assessments, network diagrams, and assessments of study heterogeneity.
- Apply advanced quantitative methodologies such as MAICs, simulated treatment comparisons, meta-regression, surrogate outcome assessment, and single-arm trial analyses where appropriate.
- Contribute to methodological innovation, thought leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives within advanced analytics and evidence synthesis.
Key Skills:
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience delivering HTA, evidence synthesis, or advanced analytics projects within a consultancy or CRO.
- Strong knowledge of statistical software/tools; specifically, R, Python, SAS, WinBugs, Stata, etc.
