Key Responsibilities:
- Provision and manage AWS EKS clusters using Terraform
- Deploy and configure Istio with mTLS for secure service mesh communication
- Implement and manage Kafka/StatefulSets within Kubernetes
- Set up and maintain Prometheus and Grafana dashboards with performance-based SLOs
- Deploy agents via DaemonSets for monitoring and logging
- Enforce security protocols including mTLS and AppArmor
- Optimize infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and security in a multi-tenant environment
- Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Hands-on knowledge of Istio, mTLS, and service mesh security
- Experience with Kafka, StatefulSets, and agent deployments in Kubernetes
- Proficiency in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
- Familiarity with security hardening (AppArmor, zero-trust principles)
