Requirements
- Higher degree in translation or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of target language(s), advanced level knowledge of source language(s)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Practical experience in using CAT tools (e.g. Trados Studio, Across and Star Transit)
- Highly service minded and strong sense of adhering to deadlines
- Ideally, min 2 years of translating and other linguistic experience
Advantages
It is advantageous to have one or more of the following:
- Previous freelance experience in services: translation, transcreation, SEO, content writing, revision, review, post-editing, interpretation and other linguistic services
- Previous experience in translating technical, finance, life sciences, digital marketing and EU texts
- Previous experience in using Across, Start Transit and / or XTM
- Knowledge of more than one EU source language
