Summary: The FinOps Analyst role is focused on providing urgent support for a key project, requiring an experienced professional with a strong background in FinOps. The position is remote and emphasizes expertise in finance and cloud operations, particularly with AWS and Azure. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills and financial planning knowledge to optimize costs and communicate insights effectively. This is a six-month contract with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist on a key project requiring urgent cover.
- Utilize expertise in finance, cloud operations, and cost optimization.
- Manage integration and migration initiatives across cloud and financial systems.
- Translate financial insights for technical stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in finance, cloud operations, or cost optimisation within technology-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, along with FinOps tools such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, or native cost management solutions.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Skilled in managing integration and migration initiatives across cloud and financial systems.
- Solid understanding of financial planning principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and modelling for both OPEX and CAPEX.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate financial insights for technical stakeholders and vice versa.
