Financial Analyst - SAP S/4 HANA Transformation Programme

This is an initial 11-month contract, with a view to extending multiple times due to the transformation programme running for multiple years. The daily rate is negotiable based on experience The role is fully remote.

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst is 100% focused on managing financials within 2 large-scale EWM (extended Warehouse Management) Projects in this large-scale SAP S/4HAN transformation programme. The SAP EWM Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, monitoring, and reporting of EWM implementation projects, including migrations from SAP WM to EWM or S/4HANA embedded EWM. You will act as the key financial partner to project managers and logistics stakeholders, ensuring the project remains within budget, analysing cost deviations, and validating the financial benefits of technical decisions.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in managing financials for large projects
  • Must have advanced MS Excel skills
  • Project Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain detailed project budgets for EWM initiatives, including license costs, consulting fees, infrastructure costs, and internal resource allocation.
  • Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor project expenses against budget, flagging potential overspends and deviations. Analyse the cost impact of change requests (WRICEF) regarding EWM functional specifications.
  • ROI & Benefit Tracking: Work with supply chain teams to quantify and report on the financial benefits of EWM enhancements (e.g., reduced inventory discrepancies, improved picking efficiency).
  • Financial Reporting: Produce monthly cash forecasts, accrual reports, and financial status updates for stakeholders and Capital Accountants.
