Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides complex financial analysis for the divested business unit.
  • Consults with M&A and Controllership finance teams regarding P&L actions.
  • Analyzes P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Works closely with Buyer company finance team for reconciliations of revenues and costs.
  • Prepares monthly summaries of P&L and Balance Sheet balances globally.
  • Books manual journal entries in General Ledger.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Represents finance of the divested business unit.
  • Performs adhoc financial analysis.

SKILLS NEEDED
Excellent understanding of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in Profit and Loss
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Must be able to make pivot tables, analyse revenue, costs, apply procedures, determine actions to be taken and prepare summary reports.
Knowledge of SAP ERP, booking manual Journal Entries, Intercompany Billings is mandatory
Superior communication and influencing skills, should be able to work with cross-functional teams on revenues, costs and take actions
Superior teamwork skills
Strong project management skills
Must be comfortable in a dynamic environment when information is not clearly defined
Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope
Independency, accuracy, keen on learning.

Job Profile

Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for the divested business unit exercising a strong understanding of the business
Consults with M&A, Controllership finance teams to take correct actions on the P&L.
Analyses P&L and Balance Sheet
Works closely with Buyer company finance team to perform extensive reconciliations of revenues, costs as well as Balance Sheet items such as Accrued Liabilities, Unbilled Accounts Receivables, Prepaid Expenses, etc.
Analyses sub-ledger (COMPASS, SAP O&C) services projects are closed appropriately by Buyer Finance teams
Prepares monthly summaries of P&L and Balance Sheet balances at worldwide level
Prepares and books manual JE s in General Ledger
Identifies opportunities for process improvement
Represents finance of the divested business unit.
Performs adhoc financial analysis

Education Level
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience. Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst. Intermediate level of knowledge of tactical Accounting/financial analysis.
