Summary: The Financial Analyst role involves providing complex financial analysis for a divested business unit, requiring a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for the divested business unit exercising a strong understanding of the business
- Consults with M&A, Controllership finance teams to take correct actions on the P&L
- Analyses P&L and Balance Sheet
- Works closely with Buyer company finance team to perform extensive reconciliations of revenues, costs as well as Balance Sheet items such as Accrued Liabilities, Unbilled Accounts Receivables, Prepaid Expenses, etc.
- Analyses sub-ledger (COMPASS, SAP O&C) services projects are closed appropriately by Buyer Finance teams
- Prepares monthly summaries of P&L and Balance Sheet balances at worldwide level
- Prepares and books manual JEs in General Ledger
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Represents finance of the divested business unit
- Performs adhoc financial analysis
