Summary: A Financial Accountant is needed for a listed FMCG business on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for permanent placement. The role is primarily remote, requiring travel to the London office once a month. The successful candidate will manage financial accounting for the UK entity, ensuring compliance with local and US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of internal and external reporting for the UK entity, adhering to local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Management of tax and VAT reporting for the UK entity.
• Ownership of the accounting for the holding company, including managing recharges.
• Responsibility for intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Preparation of month-end accounting, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Taking ownership of balance sheet review and reconciliations.
• Supporting ad-hoc projects and supervising Part Qualified Accountants.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Accountant or Masters equivalent with experience in a business with £50 million turnover plus.
• Experience in preparing statutory accounts and VAT preparation, ideally for international entities.
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Experience in the consumer industry.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive nature.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
