Summary: The Finance Implementation Consultant role involves supporting a health charity through significant changes in their finance function over a 4-6 month contract. The consultant will focus on the implementation of Business Central, providing 'go-live' support, and addressing any arising issues. The position requires a strong understanding of Business Central and experience in system implementation, along with the ability to train and develop the finance team. Remote work is feasible, but candidates must reside in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- To quickly build a detailed understanding of Business Central and Continia set up.
- Lead on configuration and process set-up decisions and fixes for transactional processing and balance sheet.
- Establish and embed new / changed controls both in and out of the system.
- Ensure appropriate resourcing to ensure effective management of the post implementation period.
- Support with embedding the system across the organisation including training and guidance.
- Support the Finance team in responding to questions and issues.
- Develop the Finance team so as to be able to handover the responsibilities above.
Key Skills:
- Very experienced and confident in using Business Central - essential
- Experience of implementing systems previously
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant
- Ideally have some experience or understanding of charity accounting, including VAT
- A strong communicator, willing to work with the team and train them where necessary

This Finance Implementation Consultant will join them on a 4-6 month contract to ensure the smooth implementation, 'go-live' support and addressing any issues as they arise.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around the Bristol area, however remote working is feasible. They must be based in the UK however if a more remote option is available.
Candidates must be available for a July/immediate start and can commit for a 4-6 month contract.
