Summary: One of our clients is seeking experienced special needs financial planning professionals for a remote dataset development project focused on disability-related financial planning and benefits coordination. The role involves creating and reviewing structured content on special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, and financial strategies to assist AI systems in understanding complex planning scenarios. Candidates should have extensive experience in special needs financial planning and be able to deliver high-quality work independently. The position is part-time and project-based, lasting 4-6 weeks with expected hours of 10-15 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize expert-level financial planning content aligned with project guidelines and review standards.
- Review, interpret, and translate special needs financial plans into clear, structured documentation.
- Validate content related to special needs trusts (first-party and third-party) and ABLE accounts.
- Ensure legal and technical accuracy regarding SSI and Medicaid eligibility rules, including income and asset treatment.
- Apply expert judgment to common financial planning transitions, such as transition to adulthood and inheritance planning.
- Provide structured feedback to improve dataset accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines.
