Summary: Paintgun is seeking two creative Finance Managers to join their dynamic team on a freelance basis. The role involves overseeing bookkeeping, financial reporting, and liaising with external financial professionals. Ideal candidates will have a passion for storytelling and the ability to work remotely while contributing to impactful digital advertising campaigns. A strong background in finance and accounting is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
- Own monthly financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
- Manage company payments, payroll coordination, and invoicing processes.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Improve and maintain financial systems and controls as the company grows.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
