About the Role
We’re delighted to be supporting an established international project-led business in the search for an experienced Finance Manager to join them on an interim basis.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations during a period of transition.
This is a hands-on role offering plenty of autonomy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of finance within a collaborative SME environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across internal systems.
- Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger processes.
- Coordinate supplier payment runs and liaise with senior management regarding payment approvals.
- Support payroll processes alongside external payroll providers.
- Prepare customer quotations and supplier purchase orders in conjunction with operational teams.
- Monitor outstanding debtor balances and support credit control activities.
- Act as the primary finance contact for the wider business, providing day-to-day financial support and guidance.
- Assist with the transition and handover to the incoming Finance Director.
About You
Previous experience as a Finance Manager or within a similar all-round finance role.
At least five years’ experience working within a commercial finance environment.
Excellent Excel skills and confidence manipulating financial data.
Strong knowledge of transactional finance, payment processes and payroll coordination.
Excellent organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage your own workload.
Experience working within an SME, agency or creative background would be a benefit.
