A Midlands council is looking for an experienced interim to support the development and delivery of its Medium Term Financial Plan. This is a fully remote contract with a day rate of £500.
The role
You will be coming in to support a busy finance team through a critical period of budget planning and MTFP development. The council needs someone who can hit the ground running, bring together financial data from across the organisation, and produce clear, accurate outputs with minimal hand-holding.
Day to day you will be working across budget setting, financial modelling, and MTFP documentation, pulling together information from multiple sources and turning it into something the wider organisation can work with. You will need to think on your feet, manage your own workload, and know when to escalate and when to crack on.
