Ability to map specific finance processes/data with underlying source systems (e.g., investment platforms, securities, mortgage/loan systems, actuarial data sources, tax provisioning tools, derivatives/trading systems)
Working knowledge of enterprise financial platforms for Securities, Loans, Derivatives, Reinsurance, leases such as PAM, IDEAS, TEBOW IATs, Everest, CLS/LMW, REOIS/FARMs, Data Grid,Murex, DAR, and GRDB, Milliman, Mersa, GRDR, Costar etc.
Finance data Sources-to-target (Enterprise Data Hub) mapping
Ability to read and interpret finance data models and reference/master data structures
Finance & Reporting Domain SME:
US GAAP financial reporting (10-K/10-Q reporting)
Statutory and local regulatory reporting
Footnote preparation, tie-out/reconciliation processes, MD&A support
XBRL tagging awareness (from a data/reporting standpoint)
SOX controls and audit evidence requirements
Insurance/reinsurance, actuarial, or investments reporting exposure
