Pigment is a change and transformation consultancy. We partner with other consultancies to deliver a "one team approach" for solving complex change across both public and private sector, including Finance, Transport, Defence and National Security, Central and Local Government.
We're looking for a number of Finance and Planning consultants to support us and our client on their transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced consultants who can bring strong subject-matter expertise, work collaboratively with client teams and translate complex financial and planning requirements into practical solutions.
We're particularly interested in consultants whose experience between them covers in-year and multi-year planning, capital planning, project accounting and workforce planning, with project accounting a key area of focus.
If you're an experienced Finance or Planning consultant looking for an interim consulting opportunity where your expertise can directly shape a transformation programme, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing SME expertise across financial planning, forecasting and management processes.
- Supporting the design and improvement of in-year and multi-year planning capabilities.
- Advising on capital planning and project accounting, including associated processes, controls and requirements.
- Supporting workforce planning and its integration with wider financial planning.
- Working with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvements and define future-state requirements.
- Contributing to workshops, requirements definition and solution design.
- Providing practical guidance and challenge to delivery teams throughout the programme.
We're looking for consultants with:
- Strong project accounting experience
- Proven subject-matter expertise in one or more of: project accounting, capital planning, in-year/multi-year planning or workforce planning.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, controls and planning cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience working within transformation or change programmes.
This project can be delivered remotely but there will be an expectation to travel to London and/or Birmingham approximately one a month.
