This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Purpose of the RoleAn exciting new opportunity has been created to join our Client Money Audit team as a Co-Ordinator reporting to our Client Money Audit Manager. You will ensure successful completion of external annual audits within a client money environment within agreed timescales.This is a home based role with occasional travel being required to Leeds.What you will doThis is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:Support Client Money & statutory audits across Ardonagh Advisory (including management and stakeholder updates, collation and review of evidence, agreement of action plans)Maintain regular communication with internal management and external auditors on audit progression to ensure agreed due dates are met.Coordinate the completion of samples by their respective due date.Collate and review evidence before communicated to internal and external auditors.Fulfil your responsibilities in line with agreed processes in order to achieve agreed objectives, and in doing so, ensure compliance with the client and insurer money rules as per FCA Client Asset Sourcebook.Qualifications and ExperienceEssentially, we are seeking someone with:Experience in a finance environment within a regulated finance services organisation, ideally insurance, preferably a large complex corporate environment or knowledge and experience of CASS 5.Audit experienceCASS 5 knowledge is preferable but not essentialMS Excel to at least an intermediate level.Experience of general ledger accounting systems.Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills individually and collaboratively.Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation through identification of process inefficiencies and reduction of exceptions/errors.Strong communication skills across all mediums as you will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.In return you will be welcomed and supported by our Ardonagh family and be joining an organisation that cares about you as a person and your wellbeing.
