Summary: The Field/Project Engineer role focuses on providing first-line assurance activities for network installations and maintenance, requiring flexibility for 24/7 support. Key Responsibilities:
- Support first-line assurance activities on a 24x7x365 basis.
- Report relevant information and updates to the client's service support desk.
- Install networks and equipment (Commtel/SDH/PDH/Radio/Xtran).
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot networks and systems.
- Install and support DC Charger, PDH, SDH, Comtel, and Microwave radio technologies.
- Utilize Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming.
Key Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of routing, switching, and data networking.
- Proven experience in IP Networking (WAN, LAN, MPLS).
- Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms (Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P).
- Experience with XTran technology.
- Knowledge of Cisco and Alcatel products.
- CCNA-level knowledge.
- LAN and WAN internetworking skills.
