Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret HL7 v2, CCD/CCDA, and FHIR messages and clinical data structures
- Lead mapping and migration efforts from CCD/CCDA to FHIR
- Design and implement HL7 to FHIR conversion logic, ensuring compliance with FHIR standards
- Work with clinical stakeholders, analysts, and developers to define data transformation requirements
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to process large-scale healthcare data
- Ensure data integrity and standardization across different healthcare data formats
- Assist in the implementation of FHIR-based APIs, including support for SMART on FHIR
- Collaborate with interoperability and clinical informatics teams to support data exchange initiatives
- Document mapping rules, FHIR resources used, and system workflows
