Summary: Next Ventures is looking for experienced Data Engineering Consultants to assist in migrating data from on-premises and Azure environments to Microsoft Fabric. The role requires candidates to be production-ready from day one and involves connecting multiple ERP systems to a new data platform. This position is fully remote and is offered as a freelance contract with the potential for extensions. Candidates must have proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in migration projects from on-prem/Azure to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Connect multiple ERP systems to the new data platform.
  • Drive new reporting initiatives and support the development of a centralized data hub.
  • Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver outcomes without “learning on the job”—candidates must be production-ready from day one.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric (completed relevant projects).
  • Proficiency with DBT, DevOps/CI-CD, and standard data engineering toolsets.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience working in international environments; business process and finance knowledge is a plus.
