Summary: The role of F5 Engineer involves supporting the establishment and operation of a data analysis and management platform for a public sector client in a security-critical multi-tenant setup. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, administer, and operate network infrastructure components.
• Provide technical and technological consulting to Product Owners and Software Engineering teams on product and project requirements.
• Create and maintain rules within F5 for ingress and egress.
• Consult on the specification and design of complex network infrastructures with F5 ALGs.
• Consult on the commissioning of complex network infrastructures with F5 ALGs.

Key Skills:

• At least 2 years (or 1 project experience) in building or operating an Application Layer Gateway from F5, with modules: WAF, LTM, and SSLO.
• At least 2 years (or 1 project experience) in writing iRules, creating rules, SSL profiles (Client/Server), and analyzing event logs.
• Experience in integrating ICAP with F5 for Proxy and WAF in at least one project.
• At least 1 year of combined experience in TCP connections and headers, troubleshooting with TCP dumps, and working on the CLI.
• Maintenance and management of HA systems.
• Programming Infrastructure as Code in Ansible and/or Python.
• Writing code for automation (creating rules, profiles).
• Configuration Management, Log Management, and Monitoring.
• Experience working in a critical infrastructure company/project.
• Experience working on a cloud platform.

Für ein Projekt im Umfeld eines öffentlichen Auftraggebers suchen wir einen erfahrenen F5 Engineer zur Unterstützung beim Aufbau und Betrieb einer Datenanalyse- und Datenmanagementplattform in einem sicherheitskritischen Multi-Mandanten-Setup.

Aufgaben:
* Konzeption, Aufbau, Administration und Betrieb von Netzwerkinfrastrukturkomponenten
* Fachliche und technologische Beratung der Product Owner und Software Engineering Teams bei Produkt- und Projektanforderungen
* Anlegen und Pflege von Regelwerk innerhalb der F5 für Ingress und Egress
* Beratung bei der Spezifikation und Konzeption von komplexen Netzwerkinfrastrukturen mit F5 ALGs
* Beratung bei der Inbetriebnahme von komplexen Netzwerkinfrastrukturen mit F5 ALGs
* Administration von komplexen Netzwerkinfrastrukturen mit F5 ALGs im laufenden Betrieb

* Mind. 2 Jahre (oder 1 Projekt Erfahrung) im Schreiben von iRules, anlegen von Regelwerken, SSL Profile (Client/Server), Auswerten von Eventlogs
* Mindestens in einem Projekt eine durchgeführte Integration von ICAP bei der F5 für Proxy und WAF
* Mindestens 1 Jahr Erfahrung (über die Referenzen zusammen) in:
- TCP-Verbindung und deren Header
- Troubleshooting mit TCPdumps und das Arbeiten auf der CLI
- Pflege und Verwaltung von HA-Systemen
- Programmierung von Infrastructure as a Code in Ansible und/oder Python
- Schreiben von Code für die Automatisierung (Anlegen von Regelwerken, Profilen)
- Configuration Management, Log Management und Monitoring
- Arbeiten in einem Kritis Unternehmen/Projekt
