Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of legal services including drafting, negotiating, and advising clients.
- Support qualified fee earners with drafting reports on title and reviewing preliminary enquiries.
- Manage own caseload under supervision, including exchange and completion.
- Assist with due diligence and real estate project work.
- Maintain financial hygiene through time recording and billing.
- Conduct legal research.
Key Skills:

We are presently looking for a bright, ambitious, enthusiastic and experienced commercial Real Estate paralegal to join our LDC's Real Estate Transactional team (MKParaShoot). The MKParaShoot team is a dedicated resource supporting our Milton Keynes Real Estate (MKRE) team with the full breadth of their work, with each paralegal having the opportunity to manage their own case load. From time to time there will be the opportunity to undertake work across the full spectrum of legal service areas. An opportunity to liaise with all business areas, the LDC offers excellent exposure across the firm and to some of the firm's major clients. Whilst this is a virtual role with no expectation or requirement that you attend any of our office locations, for those who would like to experience the office environment and meet our hybrid teams, there is the opportunity to attend our offices.
Responsibilities You will work as part of a team to deliver a first class service to our internal and external clients. Our approach is to create a supportive environment by working collaboratively as part of a team whilst also encouraging team members to operate with a degree of independence. The work will include:
- Provision of legal services to a wide breadth of clients including the technical skills of drafting, negotiating, advising;
- Providing support to qualified fee earners in relation to their matters including drafting reports on title, reviewing replies to preliminary enquiries, analysing search results;
- Management of own case load under supervision including effecting exchange and completion;
- Assisting with due diligence and other RE project work;
- Financial hygiene including time recording and billing;
- Legal research.
