Summary: The ETL Developer role is focused on leading and guiding developers in ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehouse loads in a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide developers responsible for ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehouse loads.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Build and maintain workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and transfer using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL.
- Manage databases using Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above.
- Create and deploy packages for ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS.
- Write and troubleshoot T-SQL statements, stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
- Understand different data models like normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
- Optimize SQL coding for performance in data queries.
- Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and complex environment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with team members.
- Analyze problems and communicate with stakeholders to assess needs and determine optimal solutions.
- Apply deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and CICD pipeline for deployments.
- Understand data structures and formats such as JSON and XML and SSIS Scripting.
