Summary: Vega Consulting Solutions is seeking a Back End SDET QA Tester/Developer for a remote contract position focused on the healthcare sector. Vega Consulting Solutions is Hiring! BACK END SDET QA Tester/Dev. for our direct Healthcare client. This is a remote based contract opportunity. Only Candidates located on the East Coast will be considered for this role. Candidates must have current experience working in Healthcare.
Job Description:
Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing software test plans, test scenarios, defines and solves for test data needs, automated scripts, and programs for testing in order to ensure the outgoing software and technical products meet and exceed quality standards. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their root causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software engineers and product owners. Participates in the review of software design and leads the team in supporting the overall quality of various software systems and applications. Develops a strong understanding of the business processes being tested and mentors junior staff.
Job requirement:

  • MUST HAVE CURRENT HEALTHCARE, ETL BACK END TESTING EXPERIENCE

  • Must have Bigdata ETL testing skills
  • Must have experience working with AWS S3, Redshift , Jenkins CI/CD alongside test automation skills
  • Must have current selenium Java and python experience
  • Responsible for analyzing the moderately complex requirements, operational problems, specifications and change requests. Produce test plans and test cases to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Monitor accurate and thorough test cases, scripts and data with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates. Perform test execution of all assigned test cases. Research and provide technical support on operational/test system defects and propose solutions.

  • Analyzes test results to ensure functionality meets requirements and recommends corrective action if necessary. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of systems, application interfaces and application software
