Summary: The ERP Test Analyst is responsible for executing comprehensive manual testing across various streams, including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing. This role requires collaboration with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve defects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in manual testing, particularly in ERP environments, and be familiar with Agile methodologies. Training will be provided for those new to Advantage ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute test activities across various streams of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Conduct payroll testing and interface validation.
- Perform configuration-based testing of COTS applications.
- Execute interface testing involving complex data integrations.
- Validate and compare data using both converted and system-generated data.
- Work in Agile environments, preferably using the SAFe methodology.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills:
- Five plus years of hands-on manual testing experience, preferably in large-scale ERP or enterprise system environments.
- Strong background in configuration-based testing of COTS applications.
- Experience with interface testing involving complex data integrations.
- Familiarity with data validation and data comparisons.
- Experience working in Agile environments, preferably using the SAFe methodology.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Certification in software testing, Agile methodologies or ERP systems is a plus.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to identify, document and resolve defects.
What you ll bring
